Hip Pain
The hip joint has a hard life, it’s subjected to huge forces and is prone to injury and arthritis; we all know someone who has had a hip replacement. In 2024 nearly 117,000 hip replacement operations were performed in the UK. Not all hip pain is a result of arthritis though and we see many patients whose pain is a result of functional problems of the hip, as well as the low back and pelvis.
Hip Pain Treatment
By working on the mobility of the affected joints, and the performance of the associated muscles, we can ease discomfort and improve stability and function. Even when the hip has become arthritic, by increasing mobility and improving strength, we can help put off the need for surgery.
