Golfers and Tennis Elbow
Tennis elbow and golfers elbow are similar conditions, both affecting the points of attachment of the forearm muscles to the upper arm bone, the humerus.
Tennis elbow affects the lateral, or outer aspect of the elbow, while golfers elbow affects the medial, or inner aspect. Although classified as an overuse injury, most times there is an underlying dysfunction in the joints and muscles of the forearm allowing the elbow to become vulnerable to injury.
Golfers and Tennis Elbow Treatment
Treatment and exercises are aimed at restoring normal function and reducing the pain and inflammation of these common conditions, through a variety of techniques involving dry needling, massage etc.
